# Request IDs

Every API request sent to the Ntropy API is assigned a unique request ID. This ID is included in the response headers under
the key `X-Request-ID`. Request IDs are crucial for debugging and support. 

When you encounter an issue or
unexpected behavior with the API, including the request ID in your bug report allows our support team to diagnose the
issue.
